PLEASE and THANK-YOU

The two most important things that you can learn IN LIFE!

I know that sounds heavy handed and maybe, in these modern times, archaic and old fashioned, but it's true.

I was taught by your Nanna to say 'Please' and 'Thank-you' at a very young age. It was treated as the worst kind of rudeness not to say them for EVERYTHING. They were (and are) the difference between getting what you want and NOT getting what you want. At the time she came across as a bit of a manners Nazi, but that teaching has got me everything I ever wanted and more.

"Not Cool" enough?

Honey, what's not cool is getting NOTHING or getting the barest minimum that you could possibly get in a situation.

True poverty is someone who has to pay through the nose for everything they want because everyone thinks they're a rude jerk.

True wealth is someone who gets extras, the best deal, the 'just for you' special treatment, the little kindnesses from strangers for apparently 'no reason'. True wealth can only be got with PLEASE and THANK-YOU.

The wealthiest people in the world say them both to everybody and for everything because either they went to good schools and were taught it or someone in their lives cared enough to treat them good manners.

I can always tell who is incredibly wealthy and who is just a try-hard wanker just by whether they have manners or not. * the disclaimer here is some people who have become incredibly rich are still try-hard wankers because they think that ordering people about is how incredibly rich people are supposed to act. These people invariably get the lowest possible denomination in terms of service and have to pay for EVERYTHING. There are a couple of other reasons to be polite to people but I will go into that in another post - BE NICE TO PEOPLE.

"My homies will think I am a poof?"

BIG DEAL! Let them.
Let them also watch as you get special treatment because you have manners.
Let them sit stunned as you get an 'extra big' piece of pie when you order it while they get a little bit.
Let them watch you get a free biscuit with your coffee because the lady who owns the cafe where you buy it, thinks 'Jamal is such a lovely young man. He is always so polite.'
Let them watch as you end up with the blessing of the parents of the girl you like because they think you were 'brought up well.'
Sometimes the blessing may not come from the person you actually thank, but little miracles will happen for you either way.

PLEASE and THANK-YOU are like lynch pins to the Universe and its Laws.

The first Law of Manifesting What You Want is to ASK. You can still say to the Universe 'Can I have that?' or 'I'll have that' or 'Gimme that', and the Universe will give you what you want.
If you use Please, you not only get what you want, you also open up an expanded version of what you want.

PLEASE is like asking the Universe for Ice Cream and getting an Ice Cream Sundae with bananas, cream, chocolate sauce, nuts and cherries on top OR asking for Ice Cream and ending up with a job in an Ice Cream Store. It generates good will towards you and creates unexpected extras for you.

The last Law of Manifesting What You Want is Appreciation or to Say THANK-YOU.
Thank-you brings more of what you are thankful for into your life.
Thank-you also leaves the person you thank with positive feedback or reinforcement and therefore more likelihood that they will do it again for you.
Thank-you not only touches the person you thank but also the people around you that hear you thank them. It's like the Universe hears THANK-YOU and swivels its abundance pipeline in your direction.

PLEASE and THANK-YOU make you feel good.

Being considerate or generous or kind or being respectful all make you feel good at the core of your being, whether you are doing it because you are paid to or expect something in return because the action or behaviour is all the Universe sees.
Being all those things out of the goodness of your heart triples your return and makes you feel even better in a total sense. Please and Thank-you are part of being considerate, generous, kind and respectful. They permeate your soul.
If you are feeling down, you can choose a couple of paths that will make you feel better. The first is to do something for someone else, the second is ask someone for help. Say 'Please help me' even if its just to God.

PLEASE and THANK-YOU open you up to Universal blessing so that YOU are Universally blessed.

Big Love, Long time. Uncle RichardX
